$250.00

Dates: June 2 - June 29
November 3 - November 30

A brief video introducing public library patrons to a new ebook platform, an interactive tutorial helping high school students learn how to search databases, and a podcast series introducing copyright basics for college faculty—these are all examples of digital learning objects that libraries have created to support their communities.

By the end of this four-week course, you will explore instructional design, learning technologies, inclusive practices, accessibility, assessment, learning object maintenance, and other topics; create a detailed plan for a learning object you might deploy at your library; and, should you choose, develop and receive feedback on a prototype of your learning object. Please feel free to reach out to the instructor (jdstawar@syr.edu) with any questions you might have about the course.

This course counts towards Library Juice Academy’s Certificate in Library Instruction.
