Course Description

Employees are the heart of any organization. But it takes a coordinated effort to make everyone feel valued and supported from the moment they enter the organization and throughout their entire career. This course will provide strategies for supporting employees from developing a recruitment strategy focused on diversity, onboarding, professional development, and career planning. As part of this course participants will:

  • Create a recruitment plan and interview process focused on diversity
  • Develop a workforce planning strategy that takes a holistic look at maximizing human resources to address existing and future needs
  • Craft a plan for onboarding that goes beyond the basics to guide employees through their new organizational culture
  • Outline an employee development program that encompasses opportunities for promotion, training, and recognition
  • Establish an evaluation process that not only assesses performance retroactively, but looks ahead at career planning as a way to continually help employees grow
