Leading Teams Through AI Change

$250.00

Dates: September 6 - October 3

Credits: 1.5 CEUs or 15 PDHs

Most AI training for libraries focuses on the tools. This course focuses on the people. As AI tools arrive in library work, staff may feel anxious about their jobs, sceptical about the technology or under pressure to adapt quickly. This four-week course helps leaders bring teams through that change while keeping trust, morale and professional values intact.

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
– Recognise common staff responses to AI, from anxiety and resistance to over-enthusiasm
– Apply change management principles to introducing AI tools
– Hold open, honest conversations about job security and changing roles
– Involve staff in shaping how AI is used in their library
– Develop a people-centred plan for an AI-related change in their own workplace

Who should take it: library leaders, managers and anyone involved in introducing or responding to AI in their library.
