About the Event
As library workers and leaders witness and experience the intense impacts of values abandonment, exhaustion, and exposure to workplace harm, an established framework is emerging in LIS that may help meet these challenges and help workers recenter humaneness, reimagine community, and activate self-preservation. Kaetrena will offer perspectives on Critical Hope, and attendees can consider how they have – or may begin – applying this framework in their work-Lives and/or organizations.
