Deidre Mennad –
I found this course informative and engaging, and I really enjoyed being a participant. It was a super experience having Robin as our instructor. She was knowledgeable and always well prepared. Her feedback remained consistently positive and encouraging, and this was a great motivator for me in this course. The course covered a variety of topics such as social media, emerging technologies in libraries, technology troubleshooting, online safety/threats and training. We discussed library ethics, users and searching and our own training experiences with technology. We also looked at the impact that technology has on library resources and services and we looked at assistive/accessibility technology in libraries. After completion of this course, I looked at technology and user services with new eyes. Thank you, Robin.
