Seeking a course designer/instructor: Advocating for the human librarian
Something we’re all concerned about is what AI is going to mean for the library profession. With some misgivings, most of us are ready to accept artificial intelligence as an inevitable contribution to our basket of tools, but we also see the looming threat that it poses to our jobs. We need to be ready to advocate for the library profession as a human endeavor, in the context of our institutions. We need to be able to call attention to what we do that can’t be done well, if it all, by an AI.
To help with this, we want to offer a class on advocacy of the human librarian, in a practical context. We’re seeking someone to design and teach such a course. If this sounds like something you want to do, please contact us at inquiries@libraryjuiceacademy.com. Thank you! 🙏
