Certificate in Artificial Intelligence in Libraries

Gain mastery in practical skills and a conceptual understanding of artificial intelligence applications in libraries though this certificate program. A range of specialized tools will be covered, along with a deep examination of ethical issues. There are four required courses, plus a choice between one of two electives.

  • Practical AI for Librarians: Deep Dive on Tools and Advanced Applications
  • Algorithms Can’t Shelve Empathy: Advocacy for Librarian Expertise

Plus one of two of the following:

  • Introduction to AI and Metadata: Uses with Library Data
  • AI for Library Instruction
