Kristin Ziska Strange

Dr. Kristin Ziska Strange serves as Director of Learning Design & Technology Innovation at Tufts University, where she provides strategic leadership for educational technology, faculty development, online learning, and instructional design initiatives. In this role, she leads cross-functional teams supporting teaching and learning innovation across Tufts’ four campuses. With over ten years of experience in higher education, Krys is passionate about creating accessible, engaging learning experiences that center student success. Her work spans curriculum development, educational technology implementation, student engagement & motivation, and faculty development programs that have trained hundreds of educators in innovative teaching practices. Krys holds a Ph.D. with Distinction in Curriculum & Instruction from Northern Arizona University, where her dissertation explored faculty identity and professional development. She currently teaches courses on topics including gamification, instructional design, assessment & evaluation, learner-centered pedagogies, and educational technologies.
