Betsy Diamant-Cohen

Betsy Diamant-Cohen has 30+ years of experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and their families through her work in public libraries, children’s museums, a bilingual preschool, a home daycare, and playing with her own children and grandchildren. She developed Mother Goose on the Loose®, an early literacy program in 1999 and has been revising and expanding it ever since. As Executive Director of Mother Goose on the Loose, LLC, she travels around the country and abroad, presenting trainings to children’s librarians and early childhood educators. Dr. Diamant-Cohen is known for explaining research in easily understandable language and integrating findings into practical activities that parents/caregivers can use with their children to build a wide variety of skills.
