ALA-APA Library Support Staff Certification (LSSC)
LSSC is designed to recognize the value and accomplishments of Library Support Staff. The LSSC Program is managed by the American Library Association-Allied Professional Association (ALA-APA), and Library Juice Academy has developed a set of approved courses that allow you to earn this certification. Each of the ten courses we offer in the program addresses one of the ten competency sets defined by ALA-APA. There are three required courses, and seven electives, out of which candidates select three. Classes are six weeks in length. If you want to pursue LSSC certification, it is important to make your arrangements first through the ALA-APA.
